Ahtna Global welcomes Jeremy Blei, PE, to the role of Senior Program Manager responsible for overseeing the firm’s extensive portfolio of work with the Federal Aviation Administration. Blei’s professional background includes 20 years of professional engineering and consulting experience, primarily in Alaska. He has managed and delivered all phases of environmental remediation projects including initial site design, remedial investigation, treatability and feasibility studies, O&M, and remedial action/construction. Born and raised in Alaska, Blei earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Alaska Anchorage.
Greg Jarrell joins Ahtna Engineering Services, Inc. (AES) with 21 years of professional business management and project execution experience throughout Alaska. As the new Alaska Regional Director, Jarrell will manage all Alaska business operations and oversee the development of environmental studies and remediation, construction, and a variety of professional services projects for not only AES but also its sister subsidiaries, Ahtna Environmental, Inc., (AEI) and Ahtna Global. Jarrell earned his M.S. in Geologic Engineering from South Dakota’s School of Mines and Technology and his B.S. in Geology from the University of Montana in Missoula.
Anchorage, Alaska – Ahtna, Inc. is pleased to announce that Timothy F. Gould, PE, has been promoted to president of subsidiary Ahtna Engineering Services, LLC (AES). Gould has served as the vice president of AES and Ahtna Environmental, Inc. since 2014.
Gould’s experience spans twenty-seven years in the consulting and construction markets with responsibilities nationwide and in the Pacific region. He has managed business operations and development for design/build facilities, environmental studies and remediation, and energy projects for federal, state, and local governments. He is a registered civil and environmental Professional Engineer and earned a master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Maine and a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Gould is a past president of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Alaska Chapter Anchorage Post and currently holds a seat on their scholarship fund board of directors.
“I look forward to contributing to continued growth and collaboration across our companies,” Gould said upon acceptance of the position.
Tim is a long-time Ahtna employee, having been with the Ahtna family of companies since 2008. Tim is a second generation Alaskan construction professional with over 14 years in an executive role and over 44 years in the construction/environmental industry. He has spent the last 20 years interfacing directly with government and commercial agencies for remediation and construction projects.
Upon accepting the offer, Tim said, “I am excited for the future of AEI/AES. As a team, we can accomplish a great deal. I look forward to contributing to the overall growth and success of Ahtna, the family of companies, and shareholders.”
Tim has been married for 33 years and has 2 children and 4 grandchildren. He enjoys traveling worldwide with friends and family and is an avid diver.
